Who we are…
Apostolic Truth Center is located in Columbiana, AL, about 25 miles south of Birmingham. We currently have over 100 members, which includes an active children’s and youth ministry. We are a family that is diverse in age and culture, but deeply devoted to one another with Christ as our example. Our heart is to be compelled by His love and to make HIM known throughout the greater Shelby County area.
Raising Awareness for a Generation…
This generation of young people is the largest in the history of the United States. This generation also has the potential to shape the future of our country and to reach others that maybe some of us would never come in contact with. The decisions and outcome of this generation are yet to be determined! Right now, 91% of American teenagers believe that truth is defined by circumstances and feelings. We indeed have a battle on our hands!
Who we are looking for…
Youth Pastor: A married couple that share a burden for youth! Someone who is willing to fight for each child and to raise up a generation that loves God, His Word and His Truth! Someone who isn’t afraid to stand for something, someone that will minister to the needs of this generation and lead them to spiritual commitments and disciplines that will result in spiritual maturity.
The position would involve…
Working directly with the Pastor, youth ministry, and parents, to plan, organize and implement a Christ-centered youth program. The goal of the youth ministry is to bring teens to Christ and for them to know Him in the power of the Holy Ghost, to live Godly lives and to have an impact on this generation.
